Parents are struggling with an ever-increasing tax burden and getting little to nothing in return for what they pay into the government education system – upwards of $30,000 PER STUDENT.

  • In Albany County, the ELA proficiency is 48%
  • In the Albany City school district, ELA proficiency is at 27%
  • In Voorheesville, ELA proficiency is at 68%
  • in Guilderland ELA proficiency is at 58%

New York State is 41st for 4th grade math evaluations – behind states like Arkansas where much less is spent per student. What are your taxes paying for??

The cost-per-student in NY has gone up by 141% in the past 20 years yet our children are failing. Clearly, public school funding doesn’t equate with RESULTS. Education is not a “one size fits all” approach and parents must have access to education choices that are best for their unique kids.

Parents must also have education choices through SCHOOL CHOICE VOUCHERS and UNCAPPED CHARTER SCHOOL FUNDING, so our children can have the PEACE, PROSPERITY and POTENTIAL they deserve through a great education in New York State. IT’S TIME TO MOVE IN A NEW DIRECTION.
